I have just had a honed slate hearth installed and (http://maplered.com) unfortunately the builders splattered a small amount of paint on it before it had been sealed.  They tried to mop this up with white spirit and (http://maplered.com) it has spread into a pale blotch.  Is there anything I can do about this before I seal it?
